Kozacy

Kozacy is a real-time strategy game developed by GSC Game World, released in 2000. The game takes place in the 17th and 18th centuries, during the conflict between Poland and Ukraine.

The player takes on the role of a military commander, choosing to play as either a Polish, Ukrainian, or Russian faction. The goal of the game is to conquer territories, expand your army, and ultimately emerge as the dominant force in the region.

Kozacy features a variety of units including infantry, cavalry, artillery, and even naval units. Players must strategically deploy their troops and utilize the strengths of each unit to gain an advantage in battle. In addition to traditional combat tactics, players must also manage their economy by collecting resources and building structures.

The game has both single-player and multiplayer modes, with up to eight players able to battle it out over a LAN or online. Kozacy received praise for its realistic portrayal of battles and historical accuracy.

GSC Game World later released a sequel to Kozacy titled "Cossacks II: Napoleonic Wars", which continued the theme of historic warfare in Europe.
